The Golden Friends host a wide array of organized activities throughout the year. These activities are filled with good food, great fellowship, lots of talking, times of giving to the community, and thanking God for our rich and varied lives.

Golden Friend meetings are on the third Friday of the month at 10 AM, September through May. They typically take summers off and the first meeting in September is used to plan activities for the coming year.

Some of the events and activities take place at Grace Center and others take them out and about.  Activites have included

• Potluck lunches with entertainment
• Trips to the St. Paul Conservatory and Silverwood Park
• A day trip to Munsinger Clemens Gardens in St. Cloud
• Pine Tree Orchard visit
• Christmas concerts

Golden Friends also gathers together to give of their time and talents. Service projects have included working at Feed My Starving Children and donating and assembling gift-filled shoeboxes for Lutheran Social Service.
